Risk Management has always been a passion with Dr. Patel. Originally trained in Bombay and London, he joined ERG after graduating from the University of Florida residency in Jacksonville.

Over his career, he gradually developed systems to improve both ER chart documentation and physician education through QA programs and risk management seminars. His expertise in this area led to his appointment to the Claims Council and Board of Directors of MAG Mutual Insurance Company, an Atlanta based medical malpractice insurance carrier.

Dr. Patel enjoys traveling with his wife and family.
